-Never let your nerves stop you from doing what you love
The Writing Process may seem as nerve wracking as performing in front of an entire school assembly, but if you take it step by step you will love the end result.
The most important piece of advice yours truly can lend you is to follow the dictated rubric exactly. It indicates what steps to take in the writing process so you will never miss a beat. Start off with journaling and answering the key prewriting questions. In completion of this step, you will have 12 solid sources to choose from in your drafts. Furthermore, make sure every essay demonstrates adherence to the Classical Aristotelian argumentative structure. This means your essay should have an introduction, narration, confirmation, concession, refutation, and summation. Because the class mantra is "The writing is rewriting," make sure to confer with a T.A and the Professor before turning in a final draft. Lastly, as a musician or even as a rhetor you must think critically and creatively about your work.
Yours truly warmly welcomes you to take the stage and most importantly, take pride in your words knowing they are all motivated.
